Who Are We?
We come from Tuscany, the most well-known vine producing region in Italy with a strategic location -- the beating heart of Italy, a land blessed with vineyards and olive-clad hills, where smiles and sunny days are spent nurturing our soil. PELAGONE has been a family enterprise for three generations, tracing its roots to Vincenzo, the founder who settled in this land 70 years ago. Vincenzo planted the first vineyard and established one of the earliest wineries in this area, a tradition that has been carried forward by his wife Maria and their son Filippo. This rich heritage of passion and hard work is constantly refreshed by a stream of innovative ideas.

How Did Our Journey With Vineyards Begin?
Our business has always been a family affair. 70 years ago, my father Vincenzo embarked on a grand adventure, choosing to relocate to Maremma and accept the challenge of establishing a brand-new farm from the ground up. Although the journey was fraught with difficulties, he embraced his passion: creating a vineyard of exceptional quality.

Why Are We So Committed To Vineyards?
The vines are our treasure. Italy, and Tuscany in particular, has a rich historical reputation for its wine, which distinguishes our land throughout Europe. Tuscan viticulture can be dated back to the Etruscan period in the 8th century BC. The long history and the unique terroir and climate have given birth to the well-known and impressive wine - Tuscan wine. It is a profound joy for us to proudly show this treasure to the world. Our mission is to cultivate and transform grapes into the finest wines with our love and craftsmanship.

Our Creations
Grape production is an art form for us. Each bottle of wine made with our grapes is a testament to our passion, crafted by hand, with each glass intended to bring happiness. “Adopting a vineyard” is not merely purchasing bottles of wine of superior quality; it is also a heartwarming smile, a precious gift, a warm embrace with the nature, and an exclusive experience of growth and nurturing alongside a 70-year-old vineyard.

My husband and I have been visiting this vineyard for 15 years and it is always a great experience, and I can say that they have decent wine. We visited again yesterday on the Ferragosto and met Filippo, and he is very friendly and happy to provide information about each of the wines. I would highly recommend and come back again!

I've always been thinking about giving a special gift for my best friend for her birthday, and adopting a vine turned out to be the perfect choice. The entire experience was fantastic, from the excitement of selecting the vine to receiving the personalized updates. My friend was thrilled with the unique gift and we enjoyed the wine together! She kept the bottle, the wooden box, and the pictures of the vines as a memorable way for her special day and made me feel a part of something truly special! The wine was delicious, and knowing that I had a hand in its creation made it even better. Italy has always been on my travel bucket list, and I’m eagerly planning my trip and can’t wait to explore the beautiful countryside of Tuscany and this vineyard!

I stumbled upon this wine while browsing online, and I’m so glad I did. I particularly like the idea of adopting a vine, and the whole process of adopting a vine and then receiving the wine was beyond my expectations. It’s a wonderful way to feel involved in the winemaking process. The personalized labels were so special for our anniversary, and "my" wine itself was absolutely delicious. It also made my anniversary dinner extra special, and I’ve been recommending it to all my friends ever since. I can’t wait to renew my adoption next year!
